Baithaks

The Department of Archaeology and Museums, Haryana, organizes Baithaks at heritage sites and museums to discuss the historical significance of the area and engage with the local community, especially the elderly. These sessions often include storytelling with locals, allowing the department to document the oral history of the place and record changes in the condition of monuments over time.

The primary aim of these Baithaks is to raise awareness among the youth and provide a platform for heritage enthusiasts who are passionate about preserving cultural heritage. These interactive gatherings foster a deeper understanding of history and encourage active participation in safeguarding the state's rich legacy.
